Report on FAP National Executive Activities
The 2013-2014 operational mission was to stage the forum's 1st international congress, embark on student recruitment drives, and establish branches in some provinces. To date FAP has engaged a number of activities and programmes including workshops, student membership drive and a successful inaugural congress held in the Limpopo Province in March 2014. FAP is the fourth largest division in PsySSA and has branches in the Limpopo, Gauteng, and Kwazulu-Natal.
The forum once again prides itself by having managed to establish branches in the Western Cape and North West Provinces, and this is a motion underway in other provinces. Once again the spirit of dedication, success and continued growth is reflected in the content of this special edition of the newsletter. FAP's Executive members continue to work tirelessly in growing the forum and promoting its core founding values.
During its AGM held at the PsySSA congress in Durban (September 2014), the forum elected the new vibrant executive. The new executive will be driving the forum into its next phase aimed at establishing several programs that will advance the forum's core strategic objectives. Central is to continue mobilising and empowering the membership to embrace the founding aspirations of the forum.
